Back With Some A/W Picks

They say absence makes the heart grow here I am... back in full swing!!! Since my last post, many design houses have launched their immensely loved collections. Whilst many brands are currently working on their Spring 2015 collections, I will take a quick glance through the current highlights in the fashion world.

Australian model Catherine McNeil is the new face for Jimmy Choo's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. The brand seems to be in love with Aussie beauties as it had been hooked up with Nicole Kidman for many seasons. The fall-winter themed shoot has been photographed by Peter Lindbergh and captures a range of handbags, eyewear and, obviously, shoes. Blue and deep-mauve are the shades which mainly stand out in the entire collection along with textures of velvet and suede.

On the other hand, Peter Lindbergh also had the honour of capturing British actor Kit Harrington for Jimmy Choo's Men Fall/Winter 2014 collection. This urban-casual shoot features the new shoe line as well as the brand's collaboration with Carrera sunglasses.

Next on the list is the classic yet trendy Fall Winter 2014 Eyewear collection by Dolce & Gabbana. Italian model, Bianca Balti, reveals some of the wide-framed glasses including some dark cat-eye, animal printed and flower adorned shades.

British fashion house, Stella McCartney also launched the campaign shoot for its accessories. This featured Kate Moss revealing the brand's handbags and eyewear. So far, the campaign hasn't impressed me enough to go ahead and grab a pick from this collection. Overall, the shoot looks under-budget and the whole dream-through-Moss'-eyes theme just doesn't work for me.

The American Hustle redhead, Amy Adams, got elegantly photographed by Mario Sorrenti  for the Fall/Winter 2014 campaign shoot of Max Mara Accessories. Graceful Adams is pictured in the brand's signature caramel-coloured coats whilst displaying the new eyewear range as well as handbags including the classic Margaux bag.
