Claiborne Swanson Frank's 'Young Hollywood'

Taking a tinge of glamour from retro portraits and infusing it with the magic of effervescent young scarlets- that is exactly what stylist Claiborne Swanson Franks new coffee-table book 'Young Hollywood' is all about. Frank has captured and interviewed about 60 hot up-and-coming beauties in portraits quite similar to those of the bygone era including Isabel Lucas, Ireland Baldwin, Riley Keough, Amber Heard, Dakota Johnson, Olivia Thirlby and many more.

To maintain the balance of Hollywood's old and modern glamour, Frank has styled her models in Michael Kors makeup and outfits as well as some vintage pieces. High waisted bottoms, beehive updos and cat eyeliners compliment the entire theme very well. A short film directed Tamara Low has been released by Michael Kors (also the book's foreword writer), exploring behind the scenes and Frank's vision of this shoot. The book is available in Michael Kors stores globally and is also available on Amazon and other Assouline distribution channels (£35-£50).
